Cost depends on components, complexity and which deliverables you need, so we quote after understanding your requirement.
The model shows a building with a sloped roof, gutters feeding a downpipe, a first-flush diverter, a filtration chamber and a percolation pit cut away so the layers of gravel and sand are visible. Water poured onto the roof travels the whole path, so the process is demonstrated rather than described.
The first-flush diverter is the part most school models leave out and the part judges most often ask about. The first few minutes of runoff carry dust and bird droppings off the roof; diverting them protects the stored water. Including it, and being able to say why, immediately distinguishes the project.
It is a strong topic for Surat specifically, where heavy monsoon runoff and groundwater depletion are both visible local issues, so the model connects to something the student and the judges can see around them.
Yes — it is built to be demonstrated with water. A collection tray and a jug are worth taking with you so the table stays dry.
Typically around two feet wide so it fits a standard exhibition table and can be carried. Tell us if your school has set a size limit.
