Project overview
Three roles — administrator, faculty and student — each see a different view of the same data. Administrators manage departments, courses and enrolment; faculty record attendance and marks for their allocated subjects; students see only their own records. The permission boundaries are enforced on the server, not merely hidden in the interface.
That last point is what a software viva turns on. Examiners routinely ask what happens if a student requests a faculty URL directly, and a project that answers correctly is in a different category from one that does not.
The database schema is normalised with proper foreign keys and is walked through in detail at handover, since the ER diagram is the single most examined artefact in a computer science submission.

How it works
